Scott Bronoski
Scott is the driving force behind Lawrence Pet Cremation. After recognizing a true need for this service in the community, he made it his mission to bring it to life, and when Scott sets his mind to something, he sees it through. He also owns and operates Overbrook Livestock, operates a 1200-head feed yard, and raises his own cattle.

Scott oversees our horse cremation services, personally transporting each horse and handling the process in a quick, efficient, and respectful way.

When he’s not working, he’s usually still working—on the farm, a project, or planning the next idea.

Sam Bronoski
Sam is the other half of Lawrence Pet Cremation and the one who brought Scott’s vision to life. While Scott had the idea, Sam turned it into a business, with heart, hustle, and her well-known attention to detail. She’s the voice you’re most likely to hear when you call, handles billing, and the one carefully packaging your pet’s cremains.

When Sam isn’t working… just kidding, she’s always working. She’s a pro multitasker who somehow still finds time to golf and cheer on her kids, Harlow and Hudson, from the sidelines at their sporting events.

Dave Miles
Dave handles pet pickups from both homes and veterinary clinics, carefully stamps ink and clay paw prints, and operates our cremation equipment with steady precision. A man of few words, he’s known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and deep respect for every pet in his care. Dave loves what he does and treats each pet like his own, often speaking to them by name as he gently walks them through their final steps.

When he’s not working with us, you’ll often find him fishing or helping out at Saltwell Farm Kitchen.

Cory Murphy
Cory is our Afterlife Care Specialist, handling each pet with compassion and dignity. She gently places your pet in a cozy pet bed with a blanket for their farewell ride, honoring the love they shared with your family. Before joining our team, Cory spent six years working in a local veterinary clinic in Lawrence, giving her a deep understanding of the journey from both sides. Her calm, kind presence brings comfort to the families we serve, and she treats every pet as if they were her own.

Outside of work, Cory enjoys watching sports, riding her bike, and spending time outdoors with her husband Doug and their yellow lab, Sam.

CJ Bronoski
CJ may only weigh five pounds, but she’s the heart of our team. As our loyal farm dog, she keeps a watchful eye on everything, always ready to lend comfort in her own way. She loves tagging along with Scott on horse pickups and is often the last to gently check on each pet before they begin their final journey. Whether she’s standing guard, exploring the pasture, or getting a little muddy, CJ brings warmth and companionship to all that we do.

We carry her memory in every farewell we help others navigate.
